My Ex-Job

I recently worked for a timeshare resale company and I truely believed that what they were doing was on the upside. Im really ashamed to say that it took me 4months to see differently. I believed that when we signed up clients to rent or sell their timeshare that we didnt just put it on our website and forget about it but I was so wrong and I need to let everyone know that any timeshare resale business is a total ripoff and if ever contacted by timeshare rent or sale hang up the phone and run the other way. I was fired from my job when I was told that our script had changed and we had to read this one word for word. I refused to tell my potential clients that we had people on standby that wanted to buy their timeshare when we didnt have anyone on standby. they were getting money hungery because the leads were dying out and it was harder to get people to sign up.but after telling them I refuse to lie they fired me and they have kept 300.00 of my reserve money and have refused to give it to me. But thats not all, I applied for unemployment and they led unemployment to believe that I lied on my paperwork to them, so now I stand to be accused of a felony by the EDD, I am unable to collect the unemployment that is due to me, I have been given a three day notice to vacate my apartment with nowhere to go and I was imformed by the EDD by mail that they can refuse me any unemployment benefits for up to 3 years.Ihave totally lost everything I have worked for and am at my wits end ,If anybody can help me or can give me some advice please let me know.

Sorry for your trouble! I had a similar experience -- these people are crooks, plain and simple!

Hi Lori,

We're extremely sorry to hear about your employment troubles and would like to launch an investigation into the practices of your former employer, including any mistreatment of you after you were fired.

Please post the name and number of your ex-employer, or email this information to us at info@scamraiders.com, and we will follow up -- at the very least to expose them to others as a fraudulent company.

We are impressed by your integrity at refusing to aid in the defrauding of others. If more Americans had this kind of character , we would all be better off.

I am terribly sorry to hear that this sort of thing happened to you! How can people be like this? I can’t belief it. I hope that in time thing will turn out good for you again. I don’t know what I would have done if I were in your situation, I guess you also didn’t know that saying you won’t lie would have these consequences. Nevertheless I believe that you did the correct thing and I salute you.
