Scamraiders

I also was scammed by swipebids three hours ago and have found no way to get the money back satisfaction guarantee that was promised.  So, I am out $150.00 dollars for some bid packs that I was unaware that I had even purchased until I got on live chat to try and cancel only three minutes after clicking continue which automatically charges you the $150.00.

If there is a class action suit, I want in on it.

Sorry you got scammed - there is some advice here on how to get your money back from the Swipebids scam: http://www.pennyauctionwatch.com/2010/05/swipebids-jesse-willms/

Also report them to the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/FTC_Wizard.aspx?Lang=en
your Attorney General and BBB etc...
I visited with my credit union this morning and they seemed to think that they could take care of replacing the $150.00 dollars. I will also report them to the Texas Attorney General and the BBB. Thank you for your kind response.
Update: I just received two emails from SwipeBidsSupport saying that I would receive a full refund in two weeks.
Does anyone else that has been scammed by swipebids.com wonder why the stated refunds can take up to 2 weeks to swow up with your credit agencies yet any transactions and purchases from swipebids that result in a debiit to your account takes only microseconds. WHAT is up with that ????
Justin,

I personally visited my credit union and they assured me that they would take care of the matter. When I got home, I had two emails from swipebids saying that I would get a refund. The credit union did say that it was better that they took it from my bank account rather than the credit card because it was easier for them to deal with it.
My money is back in my account as of today. How about yours?
Thanks for asking Wilma but no not yet and I dont give it much chance in the future. I'm dealing with a credit card company Visa. You made a smart choice with going with your local credit union that will protect your money and your interests against this kind of fraud. So great work and congratulations I am indeed happy for you
Great news Wilma B! :) Of course they should never have stolen it in first place but at least you got it back.

Credit Unions Rock.

Visa Sucks.
You are so right. Would my information help you with Visa? I told them that they were using deceptive trade practices which are illegal. I think I scared the last operator with swipebids when I told him that I would find a way to sue them and him and would not quit till my dying day. At the time, I ment it.
Thanks again Wilma I really appreciate the offer but i don't think any informatiom will change the views of a financial instition like Visa that profits so much from this co-operation with scamming penny auctions. Have you seen other sites besides swipebids.com ? They all offer the Visa gift cards. I thought i saw a few offered on swipebids one night but i may have been mistaken. Anyways thank-ypu
Another victim who got $150 stolen from them by the Swipebids scam:

Hi John, Wilma, and everyone glad you are still out there looking but i'm sure by now you have found that the cases of people being scammed by just a visit to swipebids.com is not slowing at all and appears to me that it might be increasing. I have found out these past few weeks that I might just be chasing my tail in my attemps at tracking down who took my money and whoever else's that has had similar experiences with swipebids.com. I think now the way to go is at the other end of the food chain, the people that give out our money to these crooks because they know where they are sending it. Instead of pissing , moaning and chasing ghosts i've resolved to not only find out my rights as a consumer and what protection is offered by current legistlation, I will start another discussion group where i will post a short description of being scammed but will post information as i find relate to my consumer rights. I know i have been pushed around by my credit card Visa because they believe I don't have rights. My information will be oriented to my situation as a Canadian citizen but I will welcome any replys or input into the area of consumer protection in US or other countries that might be helpfull to other victums. And yes Wilma your information that you obtained while getting your refund could be most usefull to me as well as people in similar cases. Here is my start:
