SMALL CLAIMS COURT IS NO “SMALL” MATTER

When I went to Small Claims Court I thought my simply telling the truth would win my case. I believe the Judge really wanted to be fair, but when I was asked for evidence of my claims, I didn’t have anything because I didn’t realize it would be necessary. Unfortunately my heartfelt story fell short of making an impact. Because I didn’t bring my receipts, photos, and my friend who was also a witness, my adversary’s tale was believed and I lost my case.
