Travel Services in the US and or Abroad
I am wondering if anyone knows of any legitimate business opportunities in the field of, affiliate marketing, and or a home based business in this area? I've run up against my share of scams, however, I asking which are actually viable investments that you've heard of that are not scams. I have a 9-5 that I am greatful for, but I need something of my own set in place, for security purposes, and just for me; that actually works with hard work, and patience applied, of course. Does anyone know of such an opportunity? Please share. Thanks guys!

You're absolutely correct -- many of these so-called "Home-based" business opportunities are, indeed, scams and are designed to create profit for the employer and bilk the employee.
However, there are some legitimate places you can try -- we'll gather a list of leads for you after some research. While we do not have the experience to personally recommend any of these companies, we can at least provide you with some ideas.

Wow! After an exhaustive search for travel-related affiliate marketing programs, we have a new appreciation for how convoluted this space has become.
There is very little credible information on affiliate programs that are legitimate -- and a large body of information on sites that are not. The main indicator seems to be if the company is charging for the program -- there is almost universal agreement that a legitimate company will not charge you to become an affiliate marketer.
