Hey,
I was just curious if there was any legit business on the internet. I googled several well known names like Goodyear, Honda, and Chevrolet to name a few, and guess what? I found postings of scams on all of them. How do you really know if everything you research someone has posted a scam about? Just wondering.
Thanks
Janet
I am sure that there are legitimate business opportunities on the Internet. I also know from experience that the scams probably outnumber the legitimate opportunities. Companies such as the ones that you did your search on are not going to destroy their reputations and names behind a bunch of nickle-dime stuff. These are mega millions companies. They do not have to engage in scams based on their reputations and bottom lines. I would take scam postings about such companies with a grain of salt.
My bad experiences to date have been with companies that are based in Arizona (Phoenix area), Utah, and Nevada. These locations in particular seem to be at the heart of the "work at home industry" and Multi-Level Marketing opportunities. I automatically become disinterested in anything based in these locales.
You should also check with the Better Business Bureaus where the companies are located as well as scamraiders.com, complain.com, and IC3.com (Internet Crime Complaint Center), to name a few other places to go for information about a particular company.
Be careful ! Greed in America is turning the country into a place that is full of nothing but crooks and thieves !

I am glad you did not fall for this SCAM. They will ask you to put up money to get the check, and you will probably get a check, but it will be worthless. They will have your money and you will have nothing. This SCAM has been around awhile. I am glad to see people are beginning to check into these things before investing any money. Maybe they will give up if people will stop responding to them. I received one almost identical to yours. I called the FBI and they wanted a copy of it and I sent it to them. I hope they will be able to put these people where they belong, and that's in jail. James
I recently donated money to a guy that claimed he was collecting money for autism speaks but found out that he has been going around collecting money from quite a few people and pocketing the money. I know exactly who this guy is and for all I know he is still out there scamming people out of their money. Is there anything that can be done????
