Handle used on SeniorPeopleMeet was "trueloveisrare55".  He says he is 55 years old, birthday on Sept 6, is a widower who lost his wife 5 years ago to lung cancer.  Lists his e-mail address as hansen.joe79@yahoo.com, phone number as 567-201-4233 and address as 2002 Dorr St, Fremont, Ohio 43420.  Tells people he lost his wife after 25 years of marriage, has a deaf daughter Kasey Jessica, age 17, birthday on April 20, who has cochlear implants.

He used to be a construction engineer like his father, Rick Lewis Hansen, but after getting a deaf daughter, became a teacher of deaf sign language and home schooled her as well as other deaf children ages 14-17 from around the state of Ohio. He has an assistant named James Marrons who helps with the children. Lists all the children's names as David, Vanessa, Sherry, Jones, Miguel, Mary, Kasey, Michael, Tina, Juan, Janet, Maria, Tommy, Donald, Joshua, Matthew, Ruth, Dave, Carol, Alyssa, Paul, Keith, Sara, Darren.

He claims to be half Italian, from his mother Maria Diana, who was from Milan, Italy where his father met her in a hotel where he stayed while working there as a self-employed construction engineer.  Says he was born and raised in Cincinnati and then moved to Fremont upon getting married.  Both his parents are now deceased with his father dying the first year after his wife died and his mother dying soon after his marriage.

Claims two years after his wife died, he got taken in my a woman he dated for 9 months who looked after his daughter for 5 months while he was working in New York.  She cleaned him out financially so all he was left with was a little money in his savings and his house.

After 3 weeks of romantic e-mails and chats on yahoo, Joe indicates though he had planned to come see me with his daughter, as he would love to relocate where I am once his daughter is off to college and buy me a house, he has the chance at a lucrative contract to teach underprivileged deaf children in London, England.  Takes his daughter with him, and she becomes ill when she gets there and needs new cochlear implants and he needs money for this because he doesn't have enough medical insurance, even sends you a copy of a bogus doctor's letter.  Will pay you back once he gets paid for his month in London -- typical scam, knew it when he asked for money.

I never give money to people I've never met, so once he asked for money I knew this was a scam and searched a bit more with some of the other names he had given me and found this website and saw some of the same pictures he had sent me.  Thank you to the person who put this information up.  I am now adding to this information to help others from being scammed.

Other details, says he drives a BMW 2005, is 6 feet tall and has brown eyes.  Claims to be a devoted Christian and even quotes Bible verses and prayers.  Indicates at one point that money is the root of all evil -- isn't that the truth where this guy is concerned!!  Stay away from him.
