Is Shaun Murphy, Esq. aiding "clients" Tony Tomas Marble Care and Tony and Katie Tomas & Tony Tomas Marble Cleaning and contracting in tax evasion?

Tony and Katie Tomas supposedly operate and run a contracting and cleaning business in Palm Desert – Tony Tomas Marble Care.

We have learned that Tony and Katie solicit business and 'sweat-talk' and try to encourage customers to pay them cash for their services. They provide marble repair, and supposed 'cleaning-services'.

They also solicit renting of property. We do not know as yet if the Tomases or Tony Tomas Marble Cleaning possess the proper licenses, permits and insurances to conduct their activities.

We have just learned that Tomas might be employing persons in their cleaning services company that are not citizens and that do not have 'green-cards' and who are illegally working and illegally in California.

Tomas, we know, solicited persons we have interviewed to pay them in cash for their cleaning and other services and Katie and Tony from the outset tried to and did obtain cash from Jim Couri.

We have determined that Tomas is not maintaining commercial insurance mandated for the leasing of property to third parties and for commercial enterprise. The Tomases are illegally renting property in California and shrouded by the extorting and in cahoots with Shaun Murphy.

The Tomases and Shaun Murphy seem to be in concert, engaged in a scheme to cover-up the Tomas violations of asbestos laws, consumer affairs laws, lease mandates, immigration laws and federal and state tax laws and other business violations. The Tomases are a couple of 'coyotes in sheep's clothing' -- consumers be careful!!

We will continue to investigate, but one thing seems certain -- the documented and troubling and suspect acts of Katie and Tony Tomas and Tony's recent attempt to break in to leased property, threats, demands for cash and the employing of possible illegal individuals to unjustly enrich the Tomases, who have admitted financial distress and desperation.
