It’s is regretable that the New York Times has chosen not to review the substantial evidence of corruption, collusion and unethical activities that has been presented in Scamraiders.com's Articles and Archives since its inception in July 2009, involving certain Judges, Lawyers, Litigants, Scammers and Swindlers, active in the United States and in the Courts in New York and elsewhere.
Rather the Times elected to ‘report’ not on court corruption, but embarked on a different course, and developed a skewed slant towards Jim Couri, who is ill, and who simply has had the moxie and courage to uncover, stand up and respond to documented corruption, abuse and threats, a subject the Times should be very concerned about and anxious to expose.
Converse to the Times’ mis-characterizations, Jim has for years received praise from numerous forthright State and Federal Judges for his competence as a pro-se litigant, although most of time Jim’s court involvement, he has been under the aegis of capable Council and for commercial purposes.
Only three recent Cases Jim has been a Party to in the Unified Courts in N.Y. have spawned the ire of certain ‘politically savvy’, cunning and manipulative involved persons. Now Jim has uncovered, unmasked, and denuded these culprits, and has had the courage to speak up, and write about their collusion, corruption, tampering and worse.
Jim has dedicated the past many years in assisting law enforcement and recently Scamraiders.com, in spite of fighting numerous health issues and cancer, by working diligently and tirelessly to participate in exposing wrongdoers, and aiding citizens in their personal plights as victims of scams, and swindles-- “Helping people to help themselves.” Jim has, over 30 years, received numerous accolades, many from federal and state law enforcement, as well.
We respectfully ask the Times to please focus on the System--- and the hundreds of documented complaints of improprieties involving the Court System, and the dozens of pending Federal Court Cases involving charges of corruption; and the State Judges that have been caught or who are under investigation for improprieties and corruption.
Rather than ad-hominem minutia, we all should strive for change in a fragile system. We should also take a careful look at the archaic manner in which State Judges are selected in New York and placed in such a position of power that if misused can unfairly ruin peoples lives---after all Tammany Hall is dead and Don Vito Corleone, with the dozens of Judges in his pocket is also dead----or are they?
